About the Author
Cleanthes, the successor to Zeno, was a pivotal figure in early Stoicism, known for his hymns and teachings that emphasized gratitude and moral fortitude. Meaning for Today
In today's world, where algorithms are increasingly making critical decisions in warfare, it's vital to remember our moral responsibility. Cleanthes reminds us that true strength lies in our ability to make thoughtful choices rather than relinquishing this power to machines. We must remain vigilant against the dehumanization of life and ensure that ethical considerations guide our actions.
